If anyone is interested in a snazzy waterfront condo and outside deepwater boat slip (Ft. Lauderdale style), you will soon get a chance to buy one in the Town of Halfmoon, southern Saratoga County NY. Last night the Town Board approved, by a 3-2 vote, the PDD to allow 244 units and 75-80 boat slips in what will be the largest development of its kind in the Capital Region:

As the Chamber of Commerce guy, it made me feel really great to see so many small business owners identify themselves as members of the Chamber of Southern Saratoga County and tell the Board they favored this project. This will really be an economic boom for that stretch of the waterway and many 2nd and 3rd generation marine businesses which service it. Not to mention the local dry cleaners, hair stylists, day care centers, grocers, etc. etc.!
