I always said boat owners are the best. Just wanted to say thank you to at least a half a dozen or so boaters at Sailors Haven today. Was anchored out for the day and yes you guessed it, some how I lost the whole anchor. Got there around 9 am and checked the boat at least 3 times. I even stepped on the anchor to make sure it was dug in good. Around 3pm 2 guys were going up and down the beach asking who owned the black hulled boat that was drifting toward the shore. Lucky me. Ran down to the bay and found that these same guys had pushed my boat back out and reset my other anchor. Also there was a life guard in the water making sure everything was good. Another Captain came out in his raft and offered any assistance he could give. Looks like i did not tie off my anchor so well and the whole thing came loose. Anyway just wanted to share a positive story and also say a big thank you.
