BLISTERS IN HULL

I just picked up the new boat and I have one hour on it(Stingray 195 LR). We get home and my son, shorter than I, finds a hole in the fiberglass. Dealer says "this is normal" and they will fix it. I talked to a friend who bought a 24' Bayliner last year and he said he's got a dozen. A fiberglass man at a nearby marina said that's a tribute to how they are making fiberglass hulls these days. I just got rid of the 1989 Stingray and it never had one.

Any info or comments would be helpful.
