Block Island

JLC - Don't be so hard on the guy. I suspect that his issue is with the fog banks that occasionally roll in and - let's face it - can be pretty scary. If you have radar and know how to use it, it's less of an issue. There certainly has been plenty written, on this board and others, about running in fog in Block Island Sound (and elsewhere) that would put anyone off the idea.

Its not always the fog that is an issue. Sometimes when you are new to boating , its nice to travel with others to learn your way around and where to go and such. This was our first full year with the cruiser and it was great having others to travel with. Takes some of the stress out of the picture
