Boat in marina burns down

Just got told that a boat in my marina, Miami Beach Marina has burned down. I was told it was not on my dock (G) and that there was no possible way my boat would have been hurt. No word on what caused it.

i though about you this morning, but the pictures and report showed 2 larger boats... an 80' lazzara and a large viking SF. no damage to other boats reported.

That is some scary stuff. I didn't realize you had moved your boat there, Cor....How have you been by the way?

Been doing good Shep, thanks for asking. Have moved south to Wellington since I saw you in Vero. We like the boating in the Miami area much better. We ran in to Pascal last sun day on the bay at the sandbar of Craydon park.
I have a painful time coming up, the fuel tanks are getting low and with the way the prices are it is really going to hurt! Anyone have a lead on cheap diesel??

see my reply in your other thread... there are two or three delivery services you can try, best spot will be at the Rickenbacker marina fuel dock, in the mornings.

slowing down helps too...

I was on my yacht one dock away during this. Our crew woke me up at 5AM, and they spent the rest of the night/morning spraying the yacht down since there were embers falling nearby. Got some video:
