i am considering checking out a 1998 carver mariner that has not been hauled for 2-3 years.
It is located on a fresh water lake in
georgia. The seller states that he has a diver clean and inspect the hull each season.
It does still have bottom paint remaining .
My concerns would be water absorbtion into the hull. Does anybody keep their boat in the water
for such a long time? What are the risks?
What would a survey show if I have the boat hauled ?Are moisture meters accurate?
