I am hoping that I can get some information on a party that has been going on, for I would guess over 10 years now. I have attended 4 or 5 of them and have always had a great time. It is priced reasonable and open to boaters (but I know non boaters attend) and since I can remember, was held at the catering hall at Dockside 500 in Feb. The guy that runs it usually hands out flyers at Watch Hill, and wherever else, but I must have missed him this year.If anyone knows about the party and can give me information about it I would greatly appreciate it as I would love to attend this year
 
The party is at Dockside 500’s (has new name and owners) catering hall (Sunset Harbor) on 2/2/08.

I had missed out each year, but this year some good friends secured a ticket and my wife and I will be sitting at their table.

I know Jerry when part of the FOWH used to hand out the flyers. But I believe he is still the sponsor.

I received a call in reference to the Boater's party I run from a gentlemen who mentioned he received my contact information from you on this web site. He told me you were coming as mentioned in your reply back to him. I have no other contact information for you other then this web site and have been trying to get in touch with you as I haven't received anything in reference to you attending the party.
If you or anyone that knows Brad could contact him to give me a call I would appreciate it so I can verify with him his attending the party.

Maybe it would be nice for some of the LICC'ers to come.....

$95 Per Couple

Includes music provided by Next Level & a DJ, open bar for 5 hours, Cocktail Hour with Hors D’oevres, Buffet Dinner, Coffee & Cake.

Wow, tonight is here already....

See you there... I think they may give out name tags, I am not a big name tag guy.. but WTF, I will pin it on....

It will be a fun night and a chance see some of our GSB / Watch Hill boaters.

Great Party!! I did get a chance to meet a few of our GSB comrades.

The band played all types of fine dance tunes. The food and drink was flowing all night, and real top quality. Maybe next year we can plan a LICC get together at this event.

Thanks for the kind words, it's great when I hear people enjoyed the party. As far as next year, all are welcome, this is indeed a boater's party. The only thing those that attend need is a love for the water that surrounds us.

As far as other boaters attending the party,that's fine. We already have a group from Wantagh that have been with us for years now, in fact I think you sat with some of those boaters.

Mark you calendar, next year's Boater's Party is already set for Feb. 7, 2009. The band and DJ will return, so all that we need now are the party goers.
