Boat shopping weekend

I couldn't afford a new boat if I wanted. I was able to take advantage of 6 years of depreciation on someone else's dime.

We were down there yesterday and the only slip is G-35 on the left side as you walk out. I guess someone's using it for a temporary location, but we should be all set for later this week. I'm just trying to secure a transporter to get it up to NY hopefully by the weekend.

Stop in and say "Hi" if you see us down there.

King, the slip you were looking at on Sun (G-35) is indeed taken and paid for. The 2 slips next to it (towards land) I believe are open. If they are taken there has been no boat in either of the slips.

Thanks for the update. I'll call the office, they seem to think it was open. But then again at the begining of the season they put me in someone else's slip and then realized there were 2 slips at the end of the dock missing from their board in the office.

I think Lee is right that slip is taken, I don't know if you would fit a boat that size in those slips on the side, I've only seen up to 27 in those slips.

Plus the sideways rock N roll on those side slips. I see that sailboat rock back and forth pretty good over there.

That and the GoFast that comes in a 2:00 AM..
What?.. What? I seem to have lost my hearing.. Ever hear of Captain's choise?

I may be very wrong but I think that gofast is an on land storage customer and uses that slip well, just because!

A 30'+ in that slip will be tight.

I talked to him on Sunday and he said that is his slip, so I have to go with that...

They also have a slip on the D dock. (D-44) I may be down that way Thursday and check it out. Cherie said it is a wider slip with a longer finger so it may be a better fit. Being i'm not familiar with a twin inboard setup, this may be better. We were hoping to be close to the playground but at this point I just want to get the boat in the water.
