Nope. But we had our own over by ayc.
Small bow rider. Dead motor.
Floating swiftly toward the rocks by entrance.
I see guy tryiing to start it and his girl on swim platform with a pole like she is going to push off rocks if they get close.
I yell, throw a anchor. Guy throws anchor, let's out line boat stops about 10 feet from rocks.
So I say, you have sea tow. Response is no.
Assessing situation
Guy in a center console sees this asks if he can help.
Yes please do.
Do you have a rope he says. Response no.
He gets out a rope that is about 10 feet long. Wtf.
He comes close. Throws rope. Boats are bouncing a lot.
He goes in gear while other guy try's to free anchor.
Both boats begin to go sideways towards rocks.
But the guy is able to keep control and they are both under way.
Phew.
No way I was helping him with my boat. I would of walked over to sea tow and said go help.
Those rocks are ugly and it ws high tide so there is no seeing the submerged ones.
Why is boating 80% idiots?
