Boater Safety Certificate replacement

Does anyone know if you can get a replacement boater safety card. I took the course in 2008 and lost my card. I really don't want to sit thru it again. Thanks

Florida has a process where if you call the State Water Police and can furnish your Name and Course Date, they will issue a replacement card. NY may as well.

I lost my card too, wound up just taking the course again online with Boat U.S..

Yes you can. I just replaced mine a few months ago due to a requirement from my new insurance company. I contacted the Power Squadron and they provided me with a replacement card within 1 week. I took the class ~12 years ago also.

Does the course online from Boat US meets Suffolk's requirements?

Yes, I believe it does as long as you are over 18 years old and are not operating a PWC.

"and are not operating a PWC" This is a issue I was under the impression the NY requires a proctored class and doesn't except online classes but I guess there is an exception to this.
