Does anyone know what happened on the lake yesterday? Though we had a great day on the water capped by a wonderful bbq, others were not as lucky. I was cruising back down the North Fork just downstream of the 5 mph bouyes when we came across a grouping of about a dozen boats, a sheriff's boat with flashing lights, a fire department helicopter and burnt debries (boat parts) floating in the water. Word has it that it was some sort of ski boat that burnt and sank. I hope everyone is allright, but there was no word on wether or not anyone got hurt.
It sure is a miserable feeling when you cruise by charred pieces of hull floating on the water...
