Boats burn

On the hard, it has to have been an electrical issue. Wonder if they had shore power hooked up

Or arson.

ITs odd . some marinas are die hard against being plugged in when on land .. Other Marinas have no problem with it .

Very odd

The place where I winter is against it. They don’t mind if you plug in while you’re there, but you have to unplug before you leave.
A bit of a PIA sometimes, but I can see the logic.

They don't look like they have power there.
I am going with insurance job.
Any boat on hard is probably not being used, trying to be sold, and annoying a owner!

Every hard down here provides shore power to keep batteries charged and fridges/freezers running. For a fee, Some yard even rig small cooling towers to keep air conditioning running by circulating water

In the picture they look like smaller boats that probably wouldn't have shore power, and they are stored in an area near trees where doesn't look like anyplace to plug in.

I was at that marina a few weeks ago it was very nice in fact we plan to return. Not sure where that area is I didn't any boats that looked like they had been sitting long.
