Bowline Fireworks

Don't you mean D Dock Rocks! The best dock in town. Pennybridge is a great place!!

Patino worked on my canvas 2 years ago and the job was awesome. I highly recommend him

Isn't "D" dock the one waaaay out, that never has anyone on it?

I cannot believe I am saying this out loud but I hope it rains a bunch to cancel Thursday so we can see the fireworks. Not sure I could pull off a Thursday night. My first real week off in 10 years.....would love for it to start with fireworks.

Me Too Warren!! I'm hoping for rain Thursday too..I really want to see the fireworks..had so much fun last time. I supposed we probably just pissed off a few people at least...oops! Sorry.

Very happy you are taking a week off!! You work your butt off and I for one know how that type of schedule burns you the heck out!!!

All Warren does is sleep all day, he is the laziest SOB I have ever met! I must have a thousand pictures of him sleeping.

I hope it rains the entire week he is gone.

Clear skies and warm temps for Thursday night!!!

Then off to NYC on the 4th for the real fireworks.

He's probably asleep right now...

And Warren, how about "anchoring up"??

What the #rb2@gr5t** are all of these "hopes for rain".

If you can't make it, you can't make it. Pure and Simple!!

Judy; You of all people can go to the marina, take the Chap out and see the fireworks and be back home sleeping before 11:00 PM.

Stop being such a light weight. [^]

Well, for me, a "slow" workday is 9 or 10 hours. The norm is 11 to 14, followed by(70% of time) another hour or two at home in the evening. So, maybe I am a "light weight" but this schedule for the last few years (compounded with my job also becomming more physical) has really beat the hell out of me...which is why the last few years I have had little time or energy to enjoy my boat, or many other social events for that matter. I like Warren have not had a real vacation (monday-friday uninterupted) since 1995. Glad I have a job...a lot of people don't..but it does "own" me.

HOWEVER...the weather is going to be what it is. All the wishing for rain/sun/warm/cold isn't going to change a thing for anyone.

Bowline is about a mile south of Haverstraw

Mike, some of us non-lawyers have to actually work for a living. I don't want the rain either, I just want to be able to fully enjoy the fireworks as in years past...I remember how you commented last year, your weekend in Stony Point for the fourth was the best holiday you had in years...I just want to enjoy the weekend to its fullest. I might even stay up until 11:00pm. Mike and Butch should keep in mind, Fishtales sees more fireworks in my sleep than both of your awake hours combined.

In your sleep is the only place you see "fireworks"!

You mean, I am supposed to be awake for that?? Maybe that's why.....OK... I got it now!!! I may actually try to take off that Friday anyway.

we will also be at haverstraw, is bowline park dink friendly ? We have about 8 boats heading up and we thinking of dinking it over to see the fireworks...thanks
