Bowline fireworks

Just got the jet boat all cleaned up and ready to go. We're coming with both boats. Anyone want to water ski this weekend, just hollar. We'll be ready.
 
Heading over later. Low Tide's around 6:30 and I haven't been in there in a couple of years. Am I OK heading in around 5 or is it getting too skinny in the entrance?

What time does the crowd head in there for the firework show and take up all the space?

Nice pictures Mike. The best fireworks that we have ever seen were sitting on the bow of our boat in the mudhole. One of the few things we miss.
 
It was a great show! I was surprise more people didn't stay out the weather wasn't too bad yet Sunday Bowline was empty. I set anchor early Saturday and didn't pull until about noon on Monday then when docked the boat back in it's slip and spent the day at Croton with the Jetski. This was a great weekend, now I have to work for two days and then we head out for another long weekend out on the sound.

Life is good!
 
Our anchors were not holding great and most of the group wanted to go back in. I'm glad we did, the rain on Sunday didn't make for a good anchor day.

I also had stuff to do to get the boat ready for the big trip this Friday.

We went to Peekskill last night and their show was nothing close to Bowline's.
 
We had a great view, front line view at Bowline thanks to Bob B. He brought all of us right up front and the kids were bending their necks so much as the fireworks were right above us.
I asked our captain as we were moving through the boats, "How far are you going in" his reply,
"TILL THE COPS SAY STOP!"

Went to Peekskill on the 4th. They were fair at best. Not nearly as good as Haverstraw's.
 
Hogan where is the big trip this year. We are heading out Thursday for a long weekend we haven't planned our big trip yet, looks like the locks may not work out this year so I'm looking for ideas.
 
Port Jeff, East Hampton, Montauk, Block, Newport, Clinton...
