Dan

Just curious if that guy that played bumper boats at your marina when we were visiting ever came back and dealt with the mess he caused.

IIRC it was Columbus day weekend. The gentleman had a wee bit too much to drink and decided to go for a ride. On the way out of the marina he hit 1 or 2 sailboats, people started yelling at him and he did several high speed doughnuts in front of Dan's boat before thinking better of it and heading back to his slip. Unfortunately he hit 2 more boats coming back in including his neighbor.

Last I saw of him he was being lead away in handcuffs by the police.

I can only speculate that he has apologised since he is going to stay at the marina from what I have heard. Everyone has a bad day I guess...

I'm thinking that would tend to make me a bit nervous. Wouldn't want to be the person slipped next to him.

Just don't send him upstream to The Anchorage. We have our quota of alcoholics already up there...

Pete, I don't think he could make it that far.

Certainly not that day. I consider myself very lucky.

Indeed you are Dan!

I can't image what might have happened if he T-boned you.

John we looked each other in the eye, and I went back through the wing door and got everyone off the boat. I have to give our guests alot of credit. He went around the marina and tried to tie him up.

HA! Actually Butch this guy is all genuine and he was trying to help get the guy lasso'd to the dock before anything else happened..
