As much as this sickens me the announcment was made by Governor Brown earlier today. He plans to push for the the tunnels going under the delta to move water to S. Cal. I just sent him this email.

I can not begin to tell you how shocked and disappointed I am that you are choosing to build the tunnels to move water from Northern California to Southern California. This will have a disastrous impact on the environment, industry, recreation much less the billions of dollars this will cost. You were elected to govern the entire state not just support Southern California interests. Has the cost analaysis been completed? I am a long time republican but was not opposed to your being elected Govenor. Your views often seemed sane compared to the insanity we usually see come out of Sacramento. I do hope you will reconsider this for all the reasons noted above. Please don't change what the good lord put in place for someone's personal gain.

Did you know that Westlands Water District was a major contributor to Brown's campaign? They contribute huge sums of money to all of the candidates, state and federal, so that whoever gets elected will do their bidding. The whole water thing is corrupt from the bottom up.

It truly sickens me to think of the Delta being bastardized this way. This time it will not go to the voters. Our best hope is get the Tea Party in California to raise up against this. But they seem to be focused on national issues instead of state issues. We need a miracle here!!!!
