Long time no talk... hope its been a good winter for everyone. This may not affect many of you since you'll likely be planning any upstate trips in summer rather than Spring or late fall, but the Canal System is opening later and closing earlier to recreational craft this year.

If any of you happen to be piloting a commercial tugboat, dont worry - the Canal Corp will work with you to extend past those dates if at all possible. We need people shipping their products and raw materials by canal!
