Anyone know if Captree is open. I was thinking about taking a ride down to smell the ocean.

I know the boat basin is.

We were able to get on to Cedar Beach a couple of weekends ago. THe beach parking lot was open and there were a couple of dozen people there hanging out. The marina side is closed.

I was at Captree on Sunday. It is open but they recently closed the overlook side. The docks by the boats have been rebuilt but they are still working on the fishing piers and outer doc around the boat basin.

As mentioned above Cedar is open as well as Jones Beach if you want to get closer to the ocean
