I wanted to share pictures of the new logo plaques I had made for my 3227. I was tired of looking at the pitted worn oval 32 badges so I came up with this... I wanted something more updated so I took the new Carver Yacht logo and had it reproduced. I have removed all other badges and striping from the boat.

West Marine. They have several to choose from. They are a standard size, around 17" long I believe. It was a direct replacement for the broken original ones.
 
Looks nice. What is that fill for in the picture? It's not original equipment.

I took the orignal oval 32 plaque to Tap Plastics and them reproduce the same shape/size in 3/8" black acrylic with a tapered edge. They drilled and tapped the backside to match the holes in the orignal plaque I then went to a local graphics place and them make the decals using the new CY Carver logo. The new plaques screwed onto the boat just like the factory ones. Looks great! Total cost was just under $100 for everything.

Just out of curiosity, did you ever think of having your own initials / monogram on there?
 
LOL... Thanks for catching the typo. My wife would actually find the humor in it.

I thought of putting different things on the plaques... Yacht Club Burgees, Boat name, etc... Since it's a sticker I can always change it if I want something different.

Glad the humor or my absence of a life was not wasted!

I would like some more info if possible. I would like to replace of the Sea Ray logo on Saint Max.

In this economy, boatless is a significant upgrade!!!
