Whats even better than the picture was being here tonight to see it in person. Not many left and we will be high and dry....

I hope you had the heat on! It was 34 down here as well this morning. We shut down the heat and woke up to it being 44 inside!

The big question is, will we be in the water this weekend?

38 when I got up Dan. Whats up, its suppose to be getting warmer as you go south. Next thing we know you will be telling us it snowed...
Mike, I hope so, have to stay on boat again tonight so I can go back to work later. So far we are still in...

All good things must come to an end - nice picture, though!!!

Butch we sincerely hope (and pray) it doesn't come to us saying it snowed! When we pulled out today there was frost all over the foredeck and Deb was ordered aft when doing the lines. If I didn't step on a line that was laying on the deck I would have slid off the boat. We're a little further south today, but the forcast is still for a FREEZE WARNING! We coulda stayed home for this....
It's gotta get better soon.

Dan

Are you sure you didn't mount your compass upside down and head north by mistake?

Dan, did you turn left or right when you came out of the Rondout Creek?

Looks like we're gonna get one more weekend on the boat...

(rb2@gr5t*&^ WE'RE GOIN FREAKIN' NORTH! We were wondering... I'll bet that sub was headed for the polar ice cap.

Dang why'd you folks have to wake us up? We were just starting to feel good about the progress we made today. We're leaving the heat on tonite. Maybe even the block heaters also.

Hum lets see, when was the last time it snowed in North Carolina. Now Dan if you had a 70 foot Johnson you could be further south where it is warmer...

We are wishing we were anywhere but here (at this instant). Both CO detectors have gone off a couple of times starting at 4:30 in the morning. I walked around the dock and did not hear a genny running anywhere. Freedom is diesel, so we are not thinking it's us. We had the heat off also.
So much for sleeping in after a long day.

Battery Low????
Both going off sounds strange. Hope you find it quick.

John that was suggested by someone over the radio. It made for some good chatter for a while ;).

We were all set to go with the voltage deal but it was two different units, and they both sounded when in the same spot within a minute. They have both been quiet since. It was a very still night, and we swear there was someone with a genny running somewhere. They only sounded once before, on the Rondout, and it was a very still night then also. Something was definitely in the air.

But hey, we were in shorts today, and we saw 4 different pods of Dolpin in the ICW north and South of Beaufort NC..

Dan, we would have put them on as well but we took them all home last week. No dolphin here though.
