Stamas is a well respected boat builder. There are over 124 Stamas boats for sale on Yacht World.com currrently. I believe I had heard of a Stamas cat but have never seen one. The Yanmars are high speed engines, if you care for them, should be OK--but not as longivity as a slower engien. The other gear is pretty much standard and of good quality.
