Certified IPS shop or Mechanics

Look for Volvo dealerships. I'd say this could be a problem. I'm thinking a Tiara dealer since it's offered or other manufacturer that offers IPS.

I'd check with Dickson's Marine in Bay Shore, his staff always is up to speed on all the latest Volvo & Merc stuff.

Steve's Marine Services - located in both Amityville and Patchogue. Check his website

Volvl diesel shops are what you need. They may be different than the gas guys.

Paul I saw that site when I goggled around. I guess I will call them. FYI, You can be a Volvo certified diesel shop, but that does not mean you are trained or certified on the IPS system. That is another animal and schooling.

Thanks all

Walter,

You may also want to check out the penta ips forum if you haven't seen it already. I have learned a little about the drives through reading there and it seems a guy called Steve Goetz, a Volvo employee is very helpful with all questions.

Called Steve's

Looks Like IPS service is no problem, they are certified. Waiting for a call back from Steve with some questions. Anyone use this yard and would like to comment on them?

Thanks
Walter

I have heard good things about Steve's. He would do my warranty work but it turns out I am under extended warranty now, so anyone can do it. Volvo provides a 2+4. So it's 2 years Volvo certified only, then 4 years anybody via a passport type agreement.
