I have a 2003 Champion bass boat, that is in the shop for the 2nd time in a year with a broken transum. The Champion boats Reps say it is from impact. There was no impact except a boat wake. Anyone that has been around boats Knows that if you hit somthing hard enough to break the transum then you are going to destroy the lower unit on the motor. I will answer questions if asked about it. I just need to know if anyone has had, or knows someone that has had this problem with their Champion boat.
