After just a week short of 40 years, my tenure with Raritan Engineering has come to an end, effective September 28th. I won't go into the specific details of what transpired, but my departure was long a-coming. I'd originally hoped to retire when I turned 50, but life somehow got in the way. On my next birthday, I'll be 70, so it appears that I'm just a wee tad overdue.

As a result, I won't have anywhere near the resources available to me, that had been formerly available, and I won't have immediate information available on any new products they may come out with in the future.

But for now at least, I do plan on staying here on the board and offering whatever assistance I can to any of you who care to write in.

Vic you were a big help to me when I needed a new crown head, Thanks. Raritan will miss you.

Raritan will miss you, but their loss is our gain! Hope you at least got an engraved potty as a send-off. Enjoy your retirement.

It is timne for you to have a real vacation.
Thanks for your longtime availability on this site!

Vic,
Dam dude, 70 years young, enjoy not working anymore, you deserve it.
I have read many of your posts and if I ever had a head problem or question I know you will have the answer or direction.

Hope all works out well for you

Walter

Seems they were short on bombs...

Best of luck in your new venture. Thanks for all of you advice over the years.

Best of luck to you Vic! I was hoping to see you this weekend at the Annapolis Boat Show. I also hope you will chime in for answers on our LectraSans questions.

Thanks again!

Thank you for all you have done for us all. Enjoy your retirement.

Congrats on a long career and best of luck in retirement Vic. I am sure your advice here will continue to be relevant and greatly appreciated for a long time to come.

Thanks Vic for your support, good luck with the retirement, take it easy and enjoy yourself.

Vic,
Good luck with your retirement, you have been a tremendous help over the years

Vic, welcome to the ranks of those whov'e paid our dues and are now reaping the rewards earned.
It's great that you will stay on as our resource on this site as your knowlege is much needed here.
Thanks

VIc,
You were a huge help to me when I was installing the Marine Elegance in my trawler! Best of luck and thanks again!!!

I hope Raritan was smart enough to keep you on as some form of consultant. Some one with your long term knowledge of a company and it's products can be an invaluable aid to costumer service.

Good luck with what ever you do next. Even if it's just sitting around watching the water flow by for a bit. :-)

Well, dang, Vic. If you're not there, then that makes the final head decision a lot easier. Not Raritan.

I hope you'll find great joy in your journeys, and that some of them will bring you our way.

Vic, you are a class guy and deserve the best of good wishes for the future. You've done a great job moderating this forum and have been a tremendous ambassador for your company. Ever thought about going in with Peggy on her consulting business? You'd be great at that, either in partnership or on your own, if you feel like still being in the biz. Anyway, all the best.
