I've read alot of bad press recently (JD Powers)on Chaparral. Is the problem with the boat or the after sales service??
I have a 2005 310 which I bought new a year ago (with Volvo - not Merc). Sure I've had some problems but the reason I bought this boat was that the dealer was located right on the lake (Lake Norman, NC)where I boat. So far the dealer has been very responsive to all issues. We really like the boat as far as both layout and performance. My only issue is the fit of the canvas. Certainly not a major issue. The 310, in my opinion, is a terrific boat with a great latout and quality. Not the best but certainly right up there. As far as value for the price, I cannot complain.
So how do the rest of you Chaparral Express Cruiser owners feel? Do you like your boats? Would you buy one again? Tell us about your experiences with both the boat and your dealers.
