I just got a call from a friend who said it is a super high tide on south shore.

I am not in town, he was going to check my boat.

Sounds like combo of wind, tide, and moon.

Not good.

I can't possibly get there until 7:30 tonight so if anyone happens to be checking on their boats at the AYC can you take a quick peak at the Major Decision in B26?

Dave, I'll check on your boat when I get down there.

Jeff

My dock neighbor checked mine and I was fine.
One rope over bow rail was super tight so he put it through the rail.

Next high is after midnight, so you want to check late tonight if you can.
Should be fine until then, it went down a little I am told.

Probably should avoid either of these situations.

Given how tight your boat is in your slip, you probably don't even need the lines to front at all.

Actually I do, the one line in question is what holds my bow off the finger pier.
I pull it tight to that side.
That is the side I wanted your pole thing for, which I will still buy if you want to sell!

Today it's really high, starting to go into the street across the canal from me. I had a feeling if the forecast was right and we had this many days of east wind in a row it could be an issue. By tomorrow may be worse...

yep, the main entrance to Anchorage was shut due to street flooding earlier..

Had to step up to my boat. Finger pier almost under. Glad we stayed at dock.
