China Camp

I've spent many, many hours fishing in that area. There can be extreme water/tidal flow conditions so have a good anchor and don't be shy about playing out the rode.

It is a popular anchorage. I have not spent the night there, for no particular reason. However, I have anchored through a major tide change to see how the bruce would reset. It did fine, it was noticeable how much more pleasant the flood was than the ebb. You will have tide change and your anchor will have to reset if you spend much time there, I was told Brice or CQR was preferred, the Bruce worked for me.

Be sure to take a dinghy so you can enjoy the state park, museum and maybe even shore side plumbing
