Does anyone use Collinite Boat Cleaner #920 before waxing? The product seems to do the same as Finess. After waxing what's a good non stripping boat soap to use?
i use the collinite cleaner/wax before appling the heavy duty fleetwax and as long as oxidation is kept to a minimum it works great and lasts more then a few months
I use the 920 then Finess it II. followed up with Collinite paste wax. A lot of work but only need to do it once a year. During the year I use a combo cleaner wax for mild buff for the top sides usually in August- keeps the dirt rolling off through the fall.
