Any opinions on an 87 SR Sorrento cuddy? I heard that the Seville series had some probs but not too familiar with the Sorrentos. It's been lift kept since new, almost 1 owner.
From my understanding the sorrento is a glorified Seville. It might even have replaced the Seville. What size are you looking at? I know the 25footer Sorrento was VERY tricky to get a handle on while docking with a wind. The height of the boat did not balance out with the beam, causing it to be not that stable.
If its the 23-24 footer then its a good boat. I call it the Pachanga cruiser. Looks are close to that of the Pachanga model. Nice deep gunwalls and certainly plenty of power.
Ok, another find: 87 SR 230 cuddy. Looks really clean 100hr driveline, embarrassed to say it's on Eboy but I would inspect & reject if a dud when picking up in person.
