nice

Apparently this was a successful line for Carver, looks like they positioned it as a high end product under thier flag.

The company was nice enough to send us some nice shirts and hats for the 2002 Trojan Rendezvous in Stuart FL.

I'm not crazy about how it attaches to the windshield. It severely limits visibility.

I have to agree I have seen an other version with a glass riser that looked great. I also don't want a hard top covering the rear on the cockpit limits where you can sit and get sun.

I am all about the less canvas the better. I am hoping to be able to someday afford a Sea Ray 39' (or 48' if I hit the lottery) Nike high top better known as their motoryacht. A/C at the helm and the canvas is a breeze. Want sun? Go up front.

I've got the a/c at the helm but on a hot day it's just about strong enough to cool me right leg, even that is a big help. I've always loved the motor yachts I thought long and hard about buying one but I also love the layout of a larger express, great for entertaining. I don't like feeling like a captain on the bridge when everyone else is below. In a few years I may feel different. Enjoy whatever boat you own and dream about whatever you would like to own. There is always something bigger and better. The moment you buy your dream boat your dreams get bigger.

That is Mike Brookins 200 Trojan 440 Express. His hardtop is from the factory. It also came with a retractable sun roof. I called Carver to see if they still have the mold, unfortunety they go rid of the mold. I would have like to used it as a template and modify it to create a newer version to add to the Trojan.

He does have a 16,000btu AC unit in the cockpit for just the cockpit.

Dave,
If you are looking for more air in the cockpit you would need to add one in your cockpit.

I have toyed with the idea of adding one in my cockpit. I am just not sold on it yet.
