Shrinkwrap coming off this weekend.

Mike are you really planning to cut the top this weekend? I'm having someone coming to start doing some work on Tuesday, so I'm considering uncovering as well but I'm a little nervous about it.

Let him open up and then we'll get the last snow fall out of the way..............

Absolutely, shrink wrap coming off Saturday, I will put the mooring cover on.

I may be cutting too but I don't have a mooring cover so I hope there is no more heavy snow.

Well today may be the day looks like a lot of rain the weekend so I think I may head up there this afternoon and do the deed.

No cover off yet but sanding the drives & prepping the hull. :) Labor of love!

March 5th and pulling covers? . . . I don't know.

Judy has the right idea, prep the hull. Winter is not over!

Those Boston guys are known for their wimpiness.

If I wasn't having my bow rail repaired I would wait another week or two but I have work to be done so I guess it's time to pull the top and be prepared to go up and shovel if need be. There may be a little more snow but I'm betting on not much (I hope).

Pulled Wed. morning, washed/polished/waxed hull, bottom job, annodes, props refurbed, fixed bent strut and splashed this morning.
Heading to a Mardi Gras Ball tomorrow night, then a Mardi Gras boat parade Sunday night. Gonna be some real fun...

Topless and it feels so good:)
What a beautiful day!!!!

Shrinkwrap OFF!

Mooring cover ON.

Let the waxing begin...

Two coats of wax from the rub rail down. Lots of company but no help. It won't be long now.

This whimpy Boston guy was out boating on the ICW today. 65 degrees and had the whole Waccamaw to myself. I was thinking of you all.

...at least you were thinking of us, Pete! We still have a month to go.

Who you kidding I did the whole Port side. That's my story and I sticking to it:)

Hogan I just missed you I'm guess at both marinas when I left my boat you weren't there yet when I left Hank it look like you were handing that way. What a day or at least part of it. I was actually hot while I was cut off the shrink wrap.

I thought that was you in the van, we were on our way to say hello to Hank.

When we first got up there, it was quite warm.

We drove to the Stony Point seawall and saw a huge bald eagle in one of the trees. Lots of people were taking pix.
