Hi again, I'm looking for a place to go hand lining for crabbys this weekend. Not looking to get the muther load, just a few to pass the day. Clincher is, we want to do this from the mother ship, a 47' MY off the swim platform, retreating back to dock by nightfall. We've always had good luck on the Bohemia but at 11knts, we are looking for a day trip. Berthed out of Georgetown Marina. Anyone have any recomendations? I was thinking if it was calm, we'd go on the other side of the crab pot line at the mouth of the Sassy. Anyone have any insight as to where to go? Anything ever go on in Back Creek, Still Pond or Worton?
Thanks in advance!!!
Chris

My neighbor seems to do well in Still Pond Creek, just couple of hundred yards inside the cut. I watched him once a couple of years ago as he worked a trot line and he did get crabs. I can't tell you much about the Sassy or its creeks.

Had a softshell swim right up to my swim platform inside Still Pond last Sunday. Missed him, though...
The ledge on the north side of the entrance to Still Pond must be pretty good. There are LOTS of commercial pots out there. Maybe you can work the edges of that minefield.

Thanks guys for your feedback! Maybe I'll try to work the minefields. Not going to make it this w/e, probably next. I'll update if all goes well.
Cheers!
