Was anyone here anchored at CP yesterday afternoon? It was like a police state. The Westchester county helicopter circled for about half hour. Then the Marine unit showed up as well as the Sheriff from Rockland County.

Not sure why. There was a group of kids being kids, having fun near where we were at. The patrol unit spoke to them but did not board anyone. They did pull over a boat or two that was leaving.

I thought there was a tragic accident or something but we couldn't figure out what the issue was other than kids partying.

I got over there around 6:00 and left around 9:00 and all was quiet. Didn't hear of anything special going on.

 

[HOGAN]

We stayed over there Saturday night and saw the helicopter yesterday, circling the area. The police did not seem to be in any rush, and were just slowly cruising through. No talk on channel 16, someone did radio them and was told that they were "working a call". It was very odd...
