Loaded the boat up with 9 of our dockmates and headed up to Newburgh. Hardly any other boats out on the water, not too much debris to worry about. Had a great cruise up, ate a super lunch at Billy Joe's Ribworks and took a slow ride back to PBM. Not much color in the trees, but great to get out and spend the day with great friends.

Our last hang was Akasaka or the Sushi place. We always had a good meal there. The last time we had a look at the river it was still quite muddy. How was it from the boat? Cocoa still?

I saw someone enjoying that water by the Poughkeepsie bridge as I drove over it. At the time it was 61 and sunny, the fall colors still vibrant along the riverside. It was an awesome day to be out...

Water is still muddy, but not nearly as bad as it has been.

Took my boat out on Saturday, went to dinner on a friend's boat Sunday...all-in-all, a great weekend!
