CT boat show at convention center

We just came back.

Not too exciting, the Providence was slighty better.

Boston promises to be the largest in New England and it's the first show at the new convention center. They'll have over 1,000 boats up to 50'. http://www.naexpo.com/boatshow/flash_hompage.html

I went to the Providence show... same old stuff.

Hartford was the same old stuff as well.
One new boat was 4 years old!

The facility is nice, the show seemed stall to me.

I thought Providece was lame. Worse than when I was there 3 years ago. Almost nothing over 25', not much to look at if you are in to cruising. Seemed like a lot of fishing boats. I am hoping Boston will be a lot better.

The Providence show was bought out recently by the people that run the Newport spring and fall shows. I doubt they had enough time to make any real changes to the show prior to it opening this year, hopefully next year will be different.
