Enjoy the weekend and your boats however you can. Just, please, stay safe. Hy

Have fun Jeff and anyone else going out this weekend. I had originally planned that this weekend would be the first overnight trip on my boat but given the weather I'm going to pass, and maybe get in some fishing or a short trip just to run the boat.

It also doesn't help that I just came back from 9 days of boating in the Virgin Islands and after the perfect conditions we had I'm having trouble getting excited about going out in the rain this weekend!

I love my boat, but I never have fun on it on rainy days. I had planned the usual early trip to the Air Show for tomorrow, but just cancelled it. I'll probably be looking for a project around the house this weekend.
I hope this isn't an indication of how the weather is going to be this summer.

I officially declare this the worst Memorial Day weekend ever!
Boat is rocking like crazy.
It's pouring out.
Noone is here.
The damn heat is on in the boat.
My satellite tv stopped working.
WTF!

That's what makes rainy days on the boat not fun.

Although, since it's raining here too, I can't get anything done outside, and my wife just suggested we go to see "The Great Gatsby" in the movies.
While spending a part of a rainy Saturday at the movies isn't a bad idea, I think I'd rather have Root Canal than suffer through "The Great Gatsby". I don't think I've recovered from suffering through the 70's version yet.

I am on boat in Lindenhurst - gotta be gusting to 40kts+ and feels like winter here. But, toasty warm in cabin and love the rocking...... Trying to make the best of a crappy weekend. On a positive note, weather gets better tomorrow and Memorial Day should be a winner!

G-d bless the men and women that gave their lives for us to be sitting on our boats complaining about the weather!!!!

Down here in SNJ the winds have subsided to 10-15knots and the blow out tide is finally gone. The sun is out but setting. It's still dam cold for this time of year.

Rain finally clearing in greenport . Nice protected harbor.....no wakes only wind

Wind was howling in the parking lot when we came out of the movie. Would have been nice to have a heavier jacket. Felt more like President's Weekend than Memorial Day Weekend. Had to turn the heat on when we got back home.
This is nuts!

We are sitting at the AYC .... I said damn the rain but those winds were wicked this afternoon. It just wasn't going to be worth the trip with that combo working against us,

Hoping to get out early tomorrow.
