Train the Water Advocate Conference
We Must Have Your Application By This Thursday, April 11, 2013! Please let us know which sections of the conference you will be attending.
Schedule Details: Friday, May 3rd -- Delta Bus and Boat Tour: 9 am to 4 pm. Friday Evening , May 3rd -- Social hour, dinner, keynote presentation: 5 pm to ? Saturday, May 4th -- 8am to 4pm -- class time the work of a water advocate.
Help Restore the Delta Build Its Army!
At Restore the Delta's train the trainer event, we will train you on the facts - on how to make a community presentation - and on other essential tools for getting the word out to other concerned citizens like you.
If you're a concerned citizen, a fishermen, a business person, a Delta public official, a water policy wonk, a farmer, an environmentalist, a rotary club member, a church leader, a youth leader, an educator, a union representative, a boater, an artist, a chef who cares about local food production, a student, a stay-at-home-parent, then this event is for you.
This event is free, including a Delta tour, and meals. Scholarships are available for traveling. We will do our best to find free and/or discounted accommodations for all those attending.
Here is what we need from you - your time on May 3rd and May 4th. And for you to fill out and email back the following application by April 11, 2013. But don't wait. Spaces are filling up fast.
