I took her for one last ride from Peekskill ramp to Yonkers today. With her proud new owner Honora. Fueld up at Haverstraw Marina. ($3.69 a gal.) Ive had this boat since new. I know its going to a good home. Ill miss it. The conditions throw Haverstraw bay where real choppy with white caps and a fast moving current. Little if no debris in most areas. Marine traffic was at a min. I hope this weekends weather will fair better.

Everyone at the Yonkers club were commenting how clean and well cared for it is. We walked up the hill and in the door
a lil while ago. She's set on new lines (with thimbles and shackles assembled by one of the members in short order). Some incredibly helpful people down there tonight. Picked up an incredibly soft brush at Westerly along with a SeaTow membership with the hope it'll never be used.
Thank You AL!!!! You went above and beyond today.

Congrats to both of you proud new owners...Today is one of the 2 best days you will ever have....Now get out there and enjoy.....Al look for us out there. will be rafted somewhere...Hoping to get over to bowline to scout the entrance. Think a large log may be submerged from what I am hearing.

Congratulations are definately in order for all, and the fun you had on your maiden voyages are only a taste of what is to come.

About the 2 best days, not really sure. The days we have had after the first day of ownership have been incredible, the day we got rid of a former boat have been tinged with a bit of sadness. Maybe the answer is to "never" be without a boat [^]

Do you believe the weather forecast for the upcoming days?!! We will be all over the Hudson after today...let's go boating[:-baseball]

Honora, Your welcome. Enjoy!

Butch, Thank you! Where going to be cleaning her up on Sat. Hopefully we can get together this weekend.. If i can help in anyway with the Bowline obstruction please let me know.

George, Thanks and congratulations to you also! I agree fully, the answer is to never be without a boat. Its like a fish out of water. I can't wait for us to have are big raft up again this year. We all have a lot to be thankful for.

Al, hopefully, we'll be having a "big raft-up" this weekend!

Congratulations to all.

Al, I know how you feel. I was happy to sell our previous boat but also a little sad because of the way I took care of her, the work I put in and the improvements I made. I felt much better knowing that the buyer was really excited about the boat, appreciated her condition and seemed to be someone who would continue to take care of her the way we did.

When we waved goodbye, everyone had huge smiles.

Good luck to all.

Congrats to both of you. It's nice to hear both parties are happy with their new boats. Have a happy and safe boating season...

Al,
Stop by at Bowline this weekend we'll be there!!

So is this now the second HRCC RO to HRCC RO boat sale?
