This is the boat we THINK we like. I HAVE to have a gentle riding boat. Any ideas? I have 3 more oral surgeries, so this summer may be shot already. We would LOVE to ride in Lake Tahoe, 4 strokes for the most part.

Any suggestions appreciated...Dave

Dave,

I don't think I've ever seen a dry riding Boston Whaler. The 2 stroke engine won't be allowed on Tahoe and 13" wheels on the trailer will mean a lot of bearing wear due to the high rotational speed. I'd look for something a little heavier. Once in a while you'll see a used Cobalt on the market. They were built heavy, ride good and are good quality.

There's a lot of boats on the market for $8000. The question is, which one is solid, fuel efficient and meets your needs.
