thanks to all who responded. I'm anchored across the bay in Rock Creek but stopped off Rock Hall on the way in, dropping the hook in the deep water off Swan Point. I went with the tender to check the depths, the harbor is plenty deep, 9 to 10' almost all the way to Sailing Emporium, except 8' there at the very end. the only hump is right at the entrance, jsut before R4 at the breakwater with 7' MLW. I will be fine with some tide. I also got a reference point on R4 to check water level and make sure the levels are not off due to wind (bottom of the ladder bracket barely touching the water...
)
Swan Creek is deeper, 9 to 10' all the way in aroudn the point and has a lot of room to anchor north of the moorings.
weather should be nasty tomorrow so the earlier i'll go over is friday...
