If I remember correctly, didn't someone (CG?) say we may be sent a bill if asked for the bridge to open when we could lower our antennas and get under a it??

Luckily for me, there are only a couple of bridges I have to ask them to raise it. I leave my antennas folded back most of the time.

Have we had any tickets issued in the delta or the bay area?

I haven't heard anything about that. I suspect the CG floated a balloon to get public opinion and it was strongly negative so they dropped that idea.

However, since it has been awhile for you, you may not know that the bridges along Hwy 12 are on an opening schedule now. Those bridges open on the 20s [on the hour; 20 minutes after the hour; 20 minutes before the hour.] Vehicular traffic gets more priority now. The Moke bridge would be your primary concern. You can clear Potato and probably Rio Vista's too.

The ruling was on the East Coast, in Soundings Magazine a few months ago. It may be that the law has been on the books and noiser drivers back there are complaining. Car's outnumber us ... maybe 100 to 1. I will look for that article.

I wanted to give people a heads up on it. You are right, I can usually clear Rio Vista.

EDIT: I emailed Soundings Magazine about the article. They will let me know the issue so I can look it up. I did good to remember where I found it.
