Time for me to get a headcount and boat count. I need your input NO LATER THEN February 13th. I will be away from my computer beginning February 15th, so don't be late!!!!

Please provide me with size of boat and number of people attending. If you coming by vehicle, I still need a head count.

We plan to arrive at Spindrift Marina Sunday, 2/18 afternoon and leave the next day.

Questions?

Liz,

I'm afraid we are going to miss this event. Due to some battery problems, we didn't get out last week and I've promised my son one more crabbing trip this year. We're going to drop pots early Sunday morning before one of his friend's birthday party and then we'll be back to pull them on Monday.

I hope everybody has a great time and that we can make the next one.

My cell number is 209-304-6009. I can be reached there Thursday - Monday.

Dave, we shall miss you!

yzer, I'll include you in my head count for dinner.....what about the missus?

I have an enthusiastic "yes" on that from the admiral, so count us down for two. Worst case on the computer: I can check in here during the first part of next week from work or borrow the admirals' laptop during some evenings. Looking forward to it!

Great. Who else thinks they might be there? Looks like the weather might be more springlike!

Hi all,

I am finally back on line after my companiy's server's Sonic Wall started blocking this site (and many others). So we got DSL at home. Anyway, we'll have to miss the trip to the Spindrift as we'll be joining our dive club for a long weekend of camping - no diving - at Lawson's Landing. It's an annual thing.

You all have fun and be safe!

GG

good to see you back on line! Guess now when you're at work, you'll have to work!

Liz, count the admiral and myself as two for Sunday at Spindrift. We will be coming by land. Look forward to meeting everyone.

Michael

that's wonderful! let's hope the weather cooperates this time!

Anybody else????? I'm going to call the Spindrift with the head & boat count tomorrow morning.....

I will give it a shot..by boat just for a drop in. Maybe just for dinner.

At this point, I don't know whether or not I'll be there--sorry. I may just have to risk showing up and not eating C&D if they are out. I can definitely say I won't be arriving by boat--I'll be in my little car if I do show.

Sorry I can't be more accurate at this time.

Is it too late to count me in? The wife sounds interested (ahem, and 3 kids).

I don't think that the restuarant will be overflowing!!!!! I'll ask them to make a little extra C&D just in case. If anyone finds at the last minute---well last hour, they can make it over, please do! I figure dinner about 6:30 or 7 unless there are objections!

Looking forward to meeting all that drop by or stay overnight!

We're looking forward to seeing everyone Sunday. My home computer is back online with the new 400 gb hard drive! It all works including the wireless network and I even saved the "favorites" from the old internet explorer. I feel a little like a geek, now...

Well, between the maybes and the fore sures, we have 12 people for dinner! It seems that there will be two boats [me and TowCapt/VA]. Even if it rains I plan to come by boat and spend the night. However, if it is windy or in any other way dangerous for a boat, I won't bring my boat. But I can handle wet and cold. I hope they offer electric hook ups for visiting boats!

M/V Flutterby will be monitoring Ch 16 on Sunday as well as having my cell phone, 209-304-6009.
Phil, I guess I won't need to file a float plan this time........I usually do that whenever I boat alone overnight. See everybody at the Spindrift!

Headcount including maybe's is 12 for dinner! Looks like I'm the only boat spending the night. I spoke with Mike at the Spindrift [916-777-4945] and he said they can easily accommodate boats up to 40 ft at the guest dock. Charge is $20/boat which includes shorepower. If the boat is over 40 ft, he needs a heads up to make special accommodations.

See everyone on Sunday!!!! Pray for sun.........and no wind!

Is that a Lund Alaskan? Those are pretty cool. Have you looked at the North Rivers? I was just down at the Fred Hall show at the Cow Palace where they had a few of them on the floor.

Hey Capt
ya i think it is a lund alaskin and yes it has the same look as a north river but the main differance is that the v hull cuts short in a snub nose about 2 1/2 ft across on the bow.plus this guy must of been a wielder because he fabed his railing up 2 feet all the way around. hope to take it out sat.tim
