I have a Monterey 245CR with a Jabsco manual pump head that discharges into a 20 gallon waste tank. Last week the head started acting up. After pumping out of the bowl, waste water would reappear in the bowl. The bowl wouldn't fill all the way back up but the more the toilet was used the higher the bowl water would get.
I took the vent pipe off the waste tank and confirmed it's not a venting issue. I disconnected the pump from the toilet and ran a snake all the way to the waste tank. I also replaced the joker valve. Now the toilet seems to be working fine. Either I had a blockage in the line or the joker valve was bad or a combination of the two.
My only issue now is that the "do not flush" light is on. I thought this light only came on when the waste tank was full. I see there are a few wires that go into the top of the waste tank. I'm assuming that this is what determines whether the do not flush light is on or not. Any information on this sensor, how it works, how to replace it, etc would be helpfull.
