IAM INSTERESTED IN A 1979 32 FOOT NEW YORKER BUT I CANNOT FIND ANY INFORMATION ABOUT IT. CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT?

Pix would help. I googled new yorker boats w and w/o quotes and got one hit for a 51 foot powercat.

I don't have a picture it looks just like a silverton. I have tried look on so many web sites its not funny I can't find anything

I remember seeing a couple of New Yorkers in Chicago, they were 30-32ft.Sportfish model with bridge. They did resemble a Silverton.Their color scheme was white/light blue trim.

Thanks for your help it seems to be impossible to find any info about the manufacture

I saw one online recently - maybe on Craigslist in NY. That could be what you saw. It looked pretty. I recall seeing quite a few of those on Southern Long Island. I think there are still several around. I don't know anything about it, but it sounds like it could have been a local boat - maybe made on Long Island. I wondered what kind of engines it had in it. There were many brands back then. The engines could be a problem to maintain, both for brand and age. You may want to plan on new engines (even used). The boat is probably well suited to area waters.

Is there anyway you can get us the Hin? We can get information that way for sure.
