Does anyone know anything about the Sultana downrigging weekend in Chestertown at the end of October? Is it practical to go by boat, or will it be a major zoo sort of thing? Thanks
Yes, its the last weekend in Oct. The big night is Friday night with the lighting of the vessels and fireworks, its really a great night plus with Halloween the next night you usually see a lot of "pirates" in the area. You can get reservations for cruises on a few of the ships (not free). Go to http://www.schoonersultana.com/downrigging09.htm for details. BTW, we will definitly be there at least on Friday night so if any ROs plan on attending let us know. We'll find a place to tip one or two!
