Winterized this raw water cooled engine today. The port manifold had hose coming into rear and a threaded brass plug/drain in the front. The drain was easy to get to so I unscrewed and water did flow out. The starboard side was different. The drain was in the rear and I could not get decent access to it. The front of the manifold had a hose coming out that was connected to the thermostat housing. The clamp on the hose at the manifold was not a standard hose clamp with screw head so I disconnected the hose at the thermostat housing and pushed it all the way to the bottom of the bilge to drain. Did I do this correctly enough to insure winterization?
