Draning Merc 5.0 single point system.

My Merc 5.0 has a Knob you open to drain system.
If I open and drain system and store it with the drive down.Is it safely drained for winter storage outside? Is it required to fill system with antifeeze and how do you fill it? Thanks

Drain your engine and get one of the winterization kits on the lower left.

Makes a 20 minute job out of the whole thing.

Remove your prop and battery when you are done.
