Placing a few Easter Island Statues across the North side opening of Hilsboro Inlet could save lives someday.
Many new to the inlet boaters mistake the open reef area as the Inlet,especially at night.
Those of you who are familier with the Inlet,know what I mean.

I am serious.
 
Been through that inlet quite a few times as my uncle lives and boats out of mother-in-law point. Very tricky inlet
 
Personally, I have always avoided that inlet like the plague whenever possible. When I've had to use it I have always made my plans to go through at slack tide.

I have used the inlet for years,day or night.
No problem if you use the Sea Buoy as a guide when entering the inlet. From the Buoy,you can see the Bridge dead ahead.
A little north or south of the inlet is VERY SHALLOW REEF.
