I haul vessel for season, 36' 2006 Tiara Open, and noticed a green halo around a number of thru-haul fittings. I checked all green ground wire leads to and from fittings all seen connected and clean. Zinc have normal wear?

could be stray current from your dock. Check the power cord and the input socket for corrosion bridges connecting the terminals.
 
I get it also but it washes off with a little On Off so no big deal? I see no pitting or any obvious damage so maybe it's a normal reaction?
 
Current would cause a halo where the paint is removed.
