Twin Crusader 220hp GM 305 gasoline inboards, Rochester Quadrajets. Borg Warner direct drive transmissions, cable shifters. New batteries, 4 months ago. Connections look and feel sound. Haven't checked with a tester yet though.

Starboard engine starts and runs fine. Port engine: nothing at all on turning the key, no sound, nothing. Tried various shifter positions to find neutral; tried shifting to forward, reverse, then back to neutral. 'Feels' like it's in neutral, still nothing on start. Thinking neutral safety switch? Or possibly ignition coil, or solenoid...?

Any thought or suggestions would be most appreciated!

SOLVED - The circuit breaker/relay assembly was loose.

Has to be the ignition switch or primary starter circuit connection.

Oh yeah, check the big electrical connector plug.
